Worship Tech

My story

The Lord blessed me with parents who knew God and were faithful in their walks with Christ. I came to know Christ when I was a child. When I was in college my faith was reinvigorated and I began looking to God for His leading in my life in a real and tangible way.

It is my pleasure to serve behind the scenes with the tech and setup crew providing leadership to a team of talented people at Mosaic.

Hopes for Mosaic

My hope is to provide opportunities for people to grow in the love for service to the Lord on Sunday morning with a fun and committed team of individuals.

As we have a rotating college contingent at the church, it's a pleasure to work with young men and women for a couple years while they're with us and develop their commitment of service to the church body.

For those post-college team members, it's a joy to develop on-going relationships and "spur one another toward love and good deeds".

Why Mosaic?

My wife, Karen, and I met in college and were looking for a church. We discovered Oak Pointe when they were 2 years old and still mobile. We had both grown up in church, but in traditional buildings. This was something different, a place we could get connected and be involved.

Fast-forward 10 years and OPC was in a building and Mosaic was getting ready to launch. We decided to take the plunge and get back into the work of mobile church and experience God's work from the beginning.

We've enjoyed the ride, with all of the ups and downs and love serving along side others who are dedicated to serving God in the Ann Arbor region.
